Emily Johnson just accomplished one of the greatest accomplishments in her professional career. Two years as an Executive Assistant for the ruthless Nicolas Wolf. On her two year anniversary, she attempts to take her talents elsewhere when it is thwarted by the powerful Mr. Wolf who has other plans for his brilliant Assistant. When a deal that could cost his company billions is jeopardized because of his playboy reputation, Nic presents Emily with an opportunity she can’t refuse. Can Nic and Emily work together for 30 days or will their hidden attraction get in the way?

Thirty Day Boyfriend is not your typical insta-love office romance, it is a love story about two professionals who fell in love without realizing it. I love Emily’s and Nicolas’s relationship, they have a flirty banter and they challenge each other.  The supporting characters in this story were fresh and honest and it added depth to this story.  Emily’s character felt real, I could tell a lot of research went into making her come alive on the pages.

The places in the story were eloquently constructed adding credibility to a developing romance. Thirty Day Boyfriend took a cliche love story and made it into a cozy read with real characters. The only growth area in this story is it was too short, I wanted more scenes and more time with the story. This was my first time reading a book from the author Whitney G. and I look forward to reading more from her. This story was refreshing and spicy if you’re snowed in or under your covers looking for a good book to transport you into a good love story look no further than Thirty Day Boyfriend.
